The 12th Annual National Research Ethics Conference (ANREC) was held on 21-22 October 2025 at Hotel Africana, Kampala, Uganda. The conference brought together researchers, regulators, policymakers, research ethics professionals, institutions and communities to discuss contemporary issues in research ethics, with particular emphasis on meaningful community engagement throughout the research lifecycle.
