Awards & Fellowships

The Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) was established by Act of Parliament (Cap 209) with the mandate of rationalising the integration of science and technology into the national socio-economic development process and providing a mechanism for advising the Government of Uganda on all matters related to science and technology for development.  Within this framework, and in accordance with Section 4 (g) of the UNCST Act, UNCST honours scientists and technologists through awards or presentations for their outstanding contribution.

UNCST hereby invites nominations for the 2017 National Bioethics Award.
